How to recover the MBR:

Insert the CD containing the LibertyBios recovery program included with your purchase.
Run 'Partition Recovery' and enter Windows RE.
Enter the following commands in order at the command prompt: bootrec /fixmbr, bootrec /fixboot
If access is denied in the second command, enter the command: bcdboot C:\Windows /l (language in use, for example: en-US) /s W: /f all

Even if you follow the recovery procedure, it may not be completely recovered. In particular, if the registry settings have been tampered with, problems may occur even after the action.
